很多人学了八字还搞不清天干和地支到底什么区别。简单说：天干是表面的快的短期的事。地支是底层的慢的长期的趋势。Many people still cannot tell the difference between Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches after studying Bazi. Simply put: Heavenly Stems are surface-level, fast, short-term matters. Earthly Branches are foundational, slow, long-term trends.
比如流年——天干告诉你这一年发生什么事（换工作了涨工资了），地支告诉你这一年底层状态怎么样（稳定还是动荡）。天干和地支都重要但地支更重要——因为地支是底层底座不稳上面的东西都会倒。Take annual luck — the Heavenly Stem tells you what events happen this year (job change, pay raise); the Earthly Branch tells you the underlying state (stable or turbulent). Both matter, but the Earthly Branch matters more — because if the foundation is unsteady, everything on top will collapse.
天干十个：甲乙丙丁戊己庚辛壬癸。地支十二个：子丑寅卯辰巳午未申酉戌亥。天干是纯能量地支是藏了天干的复合体。地支里可能藏着一到三个天干——所以分析地支比分析天干复杂得多。Ten Heavenly Stems: Jia Yi Bing Ding Wu Ji Geng Xin Ren Gui. Twelve Earthly Branches: Zi Chou Yin Mao Chen Si Wu Wei Shen You Xu Hai. Heavenly Stems are pure energy; Earthly Branches are composites that hide Heavenly Stems inside. An Earthly Branch can contain one to three hidden Heavenly Stems — making branch analysis far more complex than stem analysis.
