很多人问八字和星座哪个准。我的回答是：这是两种不同的性格分析体系——类比一下就是西医和中医。各有所长。Many people ask which is more accurate, Bazi or zodiac signs. My answer: these are two different personality analysis systems — like Western medicine versus Traditional Chinese Medicine. Each has its strengths.
星座看太阳星座——你是天秤座所以你大概是个和平主义者。这个判断大概对60%的人有效。八字看日主——你是庚金所以你大概比较果断。这个判断大概对70%的人有效。为什么八字多10%？因为八字还看了你的格局用神大运流年——信息量比星座大得多。Zodiac looks at your sun sign — you're a Libra so you're probably a peacemaker. This assessment is accurate for about 60% of people. Bazi looks at your Day Master — you're Geng Metal so you're probably decisive. This is accurate for about 70%. Why does Bazi score 10% higher? Because Bazi also considers your chart structure, Useful God, Luck Cycles, and annual stars — far more information than zodiac signs.
但星座的优势是门槛低——知道生日就行了。八字要知道年月日时——时辰一错就差很多。所以星座容易普及八字只能小众。我的态度是：两个都可以了解——但别拿星座做人生决策。星座适合聊天八字适合自我认知。But the zodiac's advantage is its low barrier to entry — you just need a birthday. Bazi requires year, month, day, and hour — if the hour is wrong, the result is way off. That's why zodiac signs are widely popular while Bazi remains niche. My take: learn about both — but don't use zodiac signs for major life decisions. Zodiac is great for conversation; Bazi is better for self-understanding.
